Pro-Ject Speaker Box 10 E Carbon and 12 E Carbon – laconic floorstanding speakers

The Austrian company Pro-Ject has expanded its range of acoustics, adding two slender floor-standing speakers to the lineup - Pro-Ject Speaker Box 10 E Carbon and 12 E Carbon.

The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 12 E Carbon loudspeakers are made in a 2.5-way configuration and are equipped with a 1” silk dome tweeter, which works with two low-frequency speakers with diffusers made of carbon composite material with a diameter of 16.5 cm. The woofers work in a phase-inverted design with a port located on the rear wall of the cabinet.

The frequency response of the Pro-Ject Speaker Box 12 E Carbon loudspeakers is from 42 Hz to 20 kHz. The nominal impedance is 4 Ohms with a sensitivity of 89 dB. The crossover is made on discrete elements and provides a flat frequency response. The manufacturer recommends using speakers with amplifiers with a power of 20 to 200 watts.
