Pro-Ject has released an entry-level headphone amplifier model - Pro-Ject Head Box E is available for 119 euros, and the small dimensions of the model allow you to easily place the device even on a heavily cluttered table. To connect headphones, a 3.5 mm minijack and a 6.35 mm jack are used, and a linear input on RCA connectors and a bypass output are not forgotten.
Despite the affordable price, Pro-Ject Head Box E offers high power - it is 665 mW when working with headphones with an impedance of 32 Ohms. The model supports headphones with an impedance of 8 to 600 Ohms and has a gain of 11 dB. The operating frequency range is also good - from 20 Hz to 80,000 Hz (with an error of 0.2 dB. The output impedance of the amplifier is less than 1 Ohm, the signal-to-noise ratio is 105 dB, and the total harmonic distortion and noise (THD+N) is less than 0.005%.
Pro-Ject Head Box E is built entirely on discrete elements, the electronics are placed on a professionally designed board, focused on an extremely long service life of the device. The case is made entirely of metal, and the front panel is turned from aluminum.
The Pro-Ject Head Box E headphone amplifier is powered via the USB-C port. If desired, you can use an external optional power supply from Pro-Ject Audio - Accu Box S2 or Accu Box S2 USB.

Vandersteen Audio has introduced an upgrade of the famous Vandersteen Quatro Wood CT acoustic systems — the new speakers are called Vandersteen Quatro Wood CT Evo. Traditionally for the company, a scheme with active subwoofer sections in each speaker is used here. The acoustics has a stable impedance of 8 Ohms, but a rather low sensitivity of 87 dB — so, for operation, an amplification of 40 to 200 W is required.
Topping has released a truly powerful headphone amplifier – the Topping A900 model develops 2 x 22 W of power into a 16 Ohm load and achieves revolutionary performance – a dynamic range of 151 dB, a signal-to-noise ratio of 151 dB, and a THD+N distortion level across the entire frequency band (90 kHz BW) of 0.00003%!
European Audio Team (EAT) has released a new EAT F-Dur turntable, which is in many ways an upgrade of the well-known Forte S model. The new turntable weighs a solid 44 kg and sports aluminum anti-vibration supports with TPE damping.
Moondrop has released the Moondrop Horizon headphones – the new product is equipped (unlike previous planar models) with a dynamic ULT driver with a diameter of 50 mm, an inclined system arrangement and a dual-magnet design.
Moondrop has introduced new isodynamic headphones Moondrop Para 2. The use of a very large isodynamic driver with a diameter of 100 mm with FDT (Full-Drive Technology) and an ultra-thin 1.2 µm membrane etched from pure silver allowed to create a very impressive model.
