The recently announced OePhi Lounge 2 and OePhi Lounge 2.5 speaker systems have gone on sale. The first model is designed as a bookshelf speaker and is aimed at small rooms, while the larger second speaker (made in a 2.5-way scheme), made in a floor-standing form factor, easily works even in large rooms.
The OePhi Lounge 2 offers a frequency range from 45 Hz to 27 kHz. It has a sensitivity of 87 dB at an impedance of 8 ohms and is designed for an input power of up to 75 watts. One speaker weighs 6.5 kg.
The OePhi Lounge 2.5 is a floorstanding speaker with extended bass down to 35Hz, 89.5dB sensitivity and 6 ohm impedance. The power handling is 150W, and the weight of one speaker is 15kg. Both speakers are available in oak, walnut, black ash or matte white finishes.
OePhi strives to eliminate distortion and coloration in the pursuit of what it calls “true sound”, so both new products offer an open and very accurate performance. The company’s developments include the Time Compensated XO system, which ensures phase-matched integration of the drivers, and the Transient Integrity Circuitry helps maintain dynamic accuracy and reduces noise. The cabinets are designed with low energy storage to minimize resonances.
OePhi Lounge Series speakers are now available. In the UK, the RRP for the Lounge 2 shelf model is £2,700. The Lounge 2.5 is priced at £4,500.

Pro-Ject has released an entry-level headphone amplifier model - Pro-Ject Head Box E is available for 119 euros, and the small dimensions of the model allow you to easily place the device even on a heavily cluttered table.
Vandersteen Audio has introduced an upgrade of the famous Vandersteen Quatro Wood CT acoustic systems — the new speakers are called Vandersteen Quatro Wood CT Evo. Traditionally for the company, a scheme with active subwoofer sections in each speaker is used here. The acoustics has a stable impedance of 8 Ohms, but a rather low sensitivity of 87 dB — so, for operation, an amplification of 40 to 200 W is required.
Topping has released a truly powerful headphone amplifier – the Topping A900 model develops 2 x 22 W of power into a 16 Ohm load and achieves revolutionary performance – a dynamic range of 151 dB, a signal-to-noise ratio of 151 dB, and a THD+N distortion level across the entire frequency band (90 kHz BW) of 0.00003%!
European Audio Team (EAT) has released a new EAT F-Dur turntable, which is in many ways an upgrade of the well-known Forte S model. The new turntable weighs a solid 44 kg and sports aluminum anti-vibration supports with TPE damping.
Moondrop has released the Moondrop Horizon headphones – the new product is equipped (unlike previous planar models) with a dynamic ULT driver with a diameter of 50 mm, an inclined system arrangement and a dual-magnet design.
