Oehlbach has introduced the Oehlbach Twin Amp Ultra, a dual-block transistor phono preamplifier. This model operates in both MM and MC modes and features an external power supply.
Precise RIAA equalization, combined with high-quality operational amplifiers and a sophisticated signal path topology, ensures, according to the manufacturer, high dynamics and a clear, natural sound.
A central element of the Oehlbach Twin Amp Ultra phono preamplifier concept is the use of an external power supply, which isolates all components operating at 230V voltage from the sensitive signal path, thereby minimizing potential interference and noise.
The Oehlbach Twin Amp Ultra features a new design concept: an all-metal enclosure with a brushed stainless steel front panel. Its robust construction provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RCA connectors, a massive screw-type ground terminal (GND), and carefully shielded internal wiring underscore the high level of quality.
The Oehlbach Twin Amp Ultra dual-block MM/MC phono preamplifier is now available in Europe with a suggested retail price of €399.
