British company Leema Acoustics has expanded its Leema 100 electronics range with two integrated amplifiers – the Leema i85 and Leema iD85. The difference between the models is that the iD85 includes a DAC section and, accordingly, digital inputs. There are still only a few photos and technical details available, but the prices of the new models have already been announced.
The Leema i85 integrated amplifier is equipped with four unbalanced RCA analog inputs, a phono input for connecting a turntable with an MM cartridge, a preamp output, a subwoofer output, and a tape output. The output stages operate in Class AB and deliver 85 W per channel into an 8-ohm load.

The power supply of the Leema i85 is built around a robust toroidal transformer and a filter bank with a total capacitance of 27,000 µF per channel. Volume control is analog; a headphone amplifier is also reported to be included. The recommended retail price of the Leema i85 integrated amplifier in Europe is €1,990.
The Leema iD85 is similar to the i85 model, but additionally features a DAC based on the ESS Technology Sabre 9028Q2M chip and, accordingly, digital inputs: 2 × coaxial RCA, 2 × optical, and an asynchronous USB-B port. The XMOS XU208 USB receiver is capable of processing digital audio up to 32-bit/384 kHz. The recommended retail price of the Leema iD85 integrated amplifier in Europe is €2,490.

The Leema 100 electronics range also includes the more powerful Leema i150 integrated amplifier, which can be purchased for €2,990, while the Leema iD150 version with a DAC costs €3,490.
