French company Neodio has announced its first bookshelf speakers, the Neodio Lilli. During development, the company focused on maintaining the speakers' compact size while maximizing their frequency response and soundstage. The stated frequency range extends from 50 Hz to 20 kHz, but sensitivity is low – just 82 dB at 8 ohms.

The Neodio Lilli speakers are housed in 210 mm tall MDF enclosures reinforced with steel side plates and damping material with viscoelastic layers. Despite these dimensions and a speaker weight of 5 kg, the enclosure accommodates a pair of custom-designed Kartesian drivers. The long-throw woofer features a 100 mm diameter aluminum and carbon fiber cone. A 28mm neodymium soft-dome tweeter completes the package. Both drivers are mounted as close as possible to each other, ensuring a coordinated and precise soundstage and excellent stereo imaging.

The Neodio Lilli features a crossover with air-core inductors, polypropylene capacitors, and a patented component combination. Internal wiring is provided using Neodio Fractal 8 cable.

The Neodio Lilli bookshelf speakers are priced at €4,500. The speakers are available with stands for €5,300 per pair, while a set with Harmonie stands and supports costs €5,900 per pair.
