Japanese company DELA Audio (formerly Melco) has released the DELA S5 Network Switch, an audiophile network switch. This model features a unique feature – user-adjustable Link Speed. This allows you to adjust the port speed from the front panel, choosing between low speed (for a more musical sound) and high speed (for high-load applications).

The DELA S5 Network Switch is equipped with 7 Neutrik RJ45 network ports, 4 SFP+ optical ports, and a 5 VDC USB port for powering external devices. The RJ45 ports support 10/100/1000 Mbps, while the SFP+ ports support 1/10 Gbps. LED indicators indicate port activity, and the front panel can also be dimmed.

Unused ports can be disabled to reduce network load and interference. The DELA S5 Network Switch uses the new Super Clear Dynamic Power Supply system. The model's enclosure is made of anodized aluminum with a stainless steel back panel and is equipped with vibration-isolating mounts.
The DELA S5 Network Switch is available now for a suggested retail price of €8,999 / $9,999.
