The Cayin Soul 170P tube amplifier is presented – the model uses four Tung-Sol KT170 in a push-pull configuration and operates in pure class A. The amplification stage is based on a pair of dual JJ 12AU7 triodes for voltage amplification, two JJ 6SN7 tubes in driver stages and a 17AX4GT kenotron for power supply.
The Cayin Soul 170P develops 2 h 60 W or 1 h 120 W in ultra-linear mode. The amplifier allows you to precisely calibrate the feedback – choosing from Low (warm sound) and High (more focused delivery) modes. The Auto Bias system maintains optimal tube operating modes without manual settings and extends the service life.
Also worth noting in the Cayin Soul 170P arsenal are point-to-point mounting, silver-plated cables, proprietary toroidal and EI transformers, an Alps potentiometer, porcelain lamp panels, audiophile capacitors and resistors.
