Hegel H200 and Hegel A200 - Two Newest Integrated Amplifiers

Hegel has announced the launch of a pair of new integrated amplifiers featuring the company's proprietary Class AB platform, delivering 2 x 150 W of output power and utilizing SoundEngine2 technology. Both the Hegel H200 and Hegel A200 boast an exceptionally high damping factor of 4,000 and are capable of driving loads with impedances as low as 2 ohms.

The Hegel H200 combines an amplifier, a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), a streamer, a phono stage for MM cartridges, and a headphone amplifier. The model supports USB, optical, and coaxial inputs, as well as Ethernet connectivity and streaming via Spotify Connect Lossless, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready, and UPnP. Additionally, the amplifier is compatible with smart home systems.

The Hegel A200 is entirely devoid of digital circuitry. It is designed for users who prefer to select their own signal sources. The unit is equipped with balanced and unbalanced analog inputs, a phono stage, a headphone output, and a range of utility functions, including adjustable input gain.

Shipments of the Hegel H200 will begin in late August, while the A200 is scheduled for release in October. The H200 will be priced at €3,995, and the A200 at €3,295.
