Cabasse LA SPHERE EVO is a new version of the famous spherical model of La Sphère speakers, which "blew up" the market in 2006. The new product implements the proprietary quad-coaxial technology with built-in amplification, DSP-processor and support for music streaming.
The LA SPHERE EVO acoustic system is based on the tri-coaxial proprietary TCA driver, which reproduces high and mid frequencies, as well as the lower middle. The emitter diffusers are made of aramid fiber, providing an ideal combination of rigidity, lightness and damping. Low frequencies are reproduced by two HELD woofers with a diameter of 30 cm in a push-push configuration, which helps to eliminate cabinet vibrations and provide a dense bass.
Each Cabasse LA SPHERE EVO speaker is equipped with four amplifiers with a total power of 10,200 W RMS. 10.2 kW are capable of providing a sound pressure of up to 127 dB - the level of a live rock concert. The frequency range is from 14 Hz to 27,000 Hz. All electronics (amplifiers, AKM4493 DACs, DSP and network player) are located in a 70 mm thick base platform.
The new speakers is expected to go on sale in the third quarter of 2025. The recommended retail price is US$ 135,000 per pair of speakers.
