Audio Resurgence revives the legacy of the legendary Alchemist Products company, founded in 1989 and widely known among audiophiles in the 1990s. The first product was the Audio Resurgence KRAKEN EVOLUTION AR6A integrated amplifier.
Audio Resurgence describes its brand not as a "relaunch" of a legendary name, but as a continuity that combines heritage with a forward-looking approach to high-end audio. The original ideas of Tim de Paravicini, one of the founders of Alchemist Products who has since passed away, form the foundation of the company's product engineering, carefully preserving the company's style and signature.

The first product from the Audio Resurgence brand, the Audio Resurgence KRAKEN EVOLUTION AR6A integrated amplifier, brings back one of Alchemist Audio's most recognizable designs (the KRAKEN amplifier) in a modernized form. The device operates partially in Class A and promises exceptionally musical sound. Full specifications will be announced later. The design is faithful to the original.
The Audio Resurgence KRAKEN EVOLUTION AR6A's circuit design utilizes the original Alchemist Products design, but features significantly larger heatsink surfaces, increasing power handling in Class A operation. Coaxial volume and input selector knobs keep signal paths as short as possible. A choice of a single or enhanced dual external power supply is still available, as well as a built-in phono preamplifier module if required. The Audio Resurgence Kraken Evolution AR6A integrated amplifier is available in the UK for £1,250, complete with a single external PSU.
