Accuphase E-3000 – the Most Compact Integrated Amplifier from the Company

04.04.2025 07:50 | ~1 minute read

Japanese corporation Accuphase has introduced a powerful but compact integrated amplifier Accuphase E-3000 – the new model will replace the E-280 in the company's model range.

Accuphase E-3000

Accuphase E-3000 uses the company's favorite patented precision volume control AAVA (Accuphase Analog Vari-gain Amplifier, which minimizes distortion) and uses a high-current output stage based on MOSFET transistors in a three-fold parallel push-pull configuration, operating in class AB.

The output power reaches 2 x 100 W into an 8 Ohm loudspeakers and increases to 2 x 150 W into a 4 Ohm load. The use of a very serious power supply made it possible to achieve a damping factor of 600. The Accuphase E-3000 has both RCA and XLR inputs in its commutation arsenal and offers expansion options for installing digital-to-analog converter and phono preamplifier boards. The cherry on the cake is a speaker protection circuit using MOSFET switches.
