The coils in all IQ pickup models are made of high purity copper wire (99.999%) and incredibly small diameter. People often ask us why we don't release the "silver" version of IQ pickups. The reason is very simple: the production of silver wires of such a small caliber is impossible.

The Audio Note M5 Line preamp has been designed for maximum linearity and minimal transient distortion, and avoids the need for harmful "corrective" measures such as inherently error-prone feedback loops.
