YG Acoustics Vesper 3 – New Three-Way Floorstanding Speakers in the Reference Series

YG Acoustics has introduced the new Vesper 3 floorstanding loudspeakers, joining the company’s flagship Reference series. The model was developed with a focus on high playback accuracy, wide dynamic range and neutral tonal balance. The project builds on technologies developed for the compact Carmel 3, while the Vesper 3 offers a larger-scale design and extended low-frequency capabilities.

Development of the speakers took around three years. Each enclosure measures 107 × 27 × 40 cm and weighs 71 kg, housing a three-way driver configuration. High frequencies are handled by YG Acoustics’ proprietary 26 mm Lattice hybrid tweeter, the midrange is reproduced by a 185 mm driver, while a 220 mm woofer covers the bass region. Both the midrange and bass drivers feature YG Acoustics’ proprietary aluminium diaphragms and optimized magnetic systems.

The crossover points are set at 92 Hz and 1.71 kHz, with the network built using high-quality components. The Vesper 3 has a claimed frequency response of 30 Hz to 40 kHz and a sensitivity of 88 dB. According to the manufacturer, the new model is designed to combine the precision and balance of the Carmel 3 with deeper bass, greater dynamic capability and the ability to create a large-scale soundstage.
