Piega has introduced the Premium 801 floorstanding speakers - the flagship of the Premium line. Designed to bridge the gap between the Premium 701 Gen2 and Coax 611, the Premium 801 combines Piega's signature solutions with an innovative approach to high-frequency reproduction: an SSD ribbon tweeter installed in a horn.

The enclosure is based on a robust extruded aluminum profile, formed under over 5,000 tons of pressure - a virtually unique process in loudspeaker manufacturing. According to the manufacturer, this technology ensures an extremely rigid, resonance-free construction within an elegant, slim form.

The Piega Premium 801 features the new SSD tweeter RM 01-24 with moving mass of just 0.03 g, employs the FSD (Full Symmetric Drive) midrange driver with the voice coil positioned perfectly symmetrically within the magnetic field, and woofers with FSD technology delivering maximum SPL approximately 6.5 dB higher than the Premium 701 Gen2.

The crossover ensures a smooth impedance curve, placing no harsh demands on amplifiers. The Premium 801 suits powerful solid-state amplifiers, modern Class D designs, and high-quality tube amplifiers. Dual speaker terminals enable bi-wiring and bi-amping. Prices range from €4,950 to €5,250 depending on finish.
