NAD C 700 and C 700 V2 Now Ready for Dirac Live Room Correction

08.12.2025 06:18 | ~1 minute read

NAD Electronics announced that the NAD C 700 and C 700 V2 streaming integrated amplifiers (BluOS platform) are now certified by Dirac for the Dirac Live room correction system. This includes the first-generation NAD C 700 model, introduced in 2021.

Dirac Live uses proprietary algorithms to measure the acoustic parameters of a specific room and correct the system's sound for real-world conditions. The user measures the room acoustics with a calibrated microphone, the software analyzes reflections, resonances, and phase shifts, and then corrects the system's frequency response and timing characteristics. Dirac Live aligns both frequency and impulse responses, and also time- and phase-aligns all system channels.

The NAD C 700 network amplifier, first introduced in 2021, features 2 x 80W HybridDigital UCD amplification and supports Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, and other streaming services.

The NAD C 700 V2, released in 2024, features an advanced DAC based on the ESS SABRE chip. The circuitry has been redesigned to improve sound quality, and a phono input for connecting a turntable has been added.

Both NAD C 700 and C 700 V2 network amplifiers are fully compatible with Dirac Live Room Correction. A full Dirac Live license is available for additional calibration functionality.
