The Fender American Vintage turntable is another result of the company’s collaboration with Mobile Fidelity Electronics. The standard package of this belt-driven turntable includes a tonearm and dust cover. As an option, you can choose a pickup head – with a moving magnet (MM) or with a moving coil (MC).
The Fender American Vintage is dressed in a solid alder body with the signature Fender Tri-Color Sunburst finish, which is famous for the Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster guitar models.
The control is based on an electronic speed switch, which allows you to easily select between 33.3 and 45 rpm with one push of a button – without having to manually change the belt. The unit features a 3 kg Delrin platter, a 10” straight aluminum tonearm with Cardas Audio wiring, and a hardened steel inverted bearing with a sapphire bearing. The turntable rests on vibration-isolating feet developed in collaboration with Harmonic Resolution Systems (HRS).
The Fender American Vintage turntable is expected to be available in the US in June 2025. The base model without a cartridge has a suggested retail price of $2,995, the version with a MoFi MasterTracker MM cartridge is available for $3,495, and the top model with a MoFi UltraGold MC cartridge will cost $3,995.
