Since its introduction, the Devialet Phantom series has earned laurels as a groundbreaking line of audio equipment. But the French company isn't resting on its laurels – a complete reimagining of the lineup awaits, introducing the new Devialet Phantom Ultimate loudspeakers. The series includes two speakers: the top-of-the-line Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB and the more compact and affordable Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB.

The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB, as its name suggests, delivers a sound pressure of up to 108 dB and will feel comfortable even in a large room. Its frequency response extends from 14 to 35,000 Hz with a 6 dB tolerance – performance that even large floorstanding speakers would envy. The integrated 1.1 kW amplification is provided by the latest version of the proprietary Analog Digital Hybrid (ADH) design, which combines digital and solid-state (Class A) amplification in both voltage and current.

All drivers have been redesigned from the ground up - for example, a new aluminum tweeter significantly expands the frequency range to 35 kHz. An aluminum midrange driver and a pair of ABS dome woofers are also included.

Both speakers are driven by an NXP i.MX 8M Nano 4 x 1.5 GHz SoC and utilize a full suite of proprietary sound enhancement technologies: SAM (Speaker Active Matching), HBI (Heart Bass Implosion, which significantly expands bass response), and AVL (Adaptive Volume Level). Digital-to-analog conversion is handled by the proprietary Magic Wire DAC system. The Devialet Operating System DOS 3 provides support for popular streaming services such as Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. Roon certification and UPnP support are also included.
