The model has a three-way design, it uses new dynamic radiators of the company's own design. Diffusers made of a mixture of ZYLON composite material and spruce wood fibers are installed in them. The 130 mm speaker in the Pro-Ject Sub Box 50 E model is pointing downwards, which ensures circular orientation and makes it easier to find the best place in terms of sound. The built-in amplifier of the novelty is designed for 50 watts of constant or 100 watts of peak power. The Sub Box 50 E covers the frequency range from 38 to 160 Hz.
