The heart of the 8381 five-band speaker system is the patented Minimum Diffusion Coaxial (MDC) midrange/high frequency speaker with High sound pressure (SPL). This driver is combined with a powerful Genelec DSP processor, providing exceptional sound clarity and adaptability. The MDC driver has a common acoustic axis with four additional 5-inch 8381 dome speakers, which are responsible for midrange reproduction.
