The McIntosh MA2375 is based on a fully analog tube preamp and power amplifier circuit. The design uses four KT88 output lamps, four 12AT7 driver lamps, as well as two 12AX7A and two 12AT7 lamps in the pre-amplification section. This approach is designed for those listeners who want to get the warmth, musicality and expressiveness of the tube sound without having to assemble the system from several separate components.
