6.5-inch "drivers" with doped fiber diffusers are responsible for reproducing low and medium frequencies in the PMC result6, while 27–millimeter tweeters with woven domes are responsible for reproducing high frequencies. The drivers in the monitors are connected to separate, fairly powerful (bass – 100 watts, treble – 65 watts) and energy-efficient class D amplifiers.
Brimming with innovation and delivering the same sound signature as our famous large monitors, the PMC6 is ideal for small control rooms or for use in large immersive systems where its astounding resolution allows critical mixing decisions to be made with absolute confidence.
The PMC6-2 is a 3-way monitor with built-in amplifiers and a digital crossover. The proprietary dome midrange with a diameter of 55 mm (2 inches) is loaded onto our new N-compass mini horn, which is responsible for exceptionally smooth directional characteristics and lively “presentation” in sound. ATL's unique woofer design and the hexagonal Laminair divider cells in its outlet provide powerful and clear bass with a relatively small body volume.
Like any PMC speaker, with super consistent dispersion and tonal balance, the PMC8-2 can be easily and seamlessly combined with smaller PMC speakers to create larger multi-channel or immersive systems. The dual bass drivers work in partnership with the same PMR 55 mid-range tweeter, DSP system, and four 400W Class D amplification channels used in the PMC6-2.
In the case of the PMC 6, the bass response of the resulting XD monitor combination expands from 39 Hz to 25 Hz, providing genuine midrange monitor performance in a compact setup, and the speaker becomes a true three-way design.
Monitors equipped with a PMC 8-2 subwoofer with a power of 300 watts per channel, which operates in the frequency range from 25 Hz to 500 Hz.
The three-band IB2S-AII offers discerning users all the attributes of PMC's large ATL reference active monitors, but in a more compact form. They are ideal for high-quality reference monitoring in both stereo and surround formats.
The MB3A immediately attracts attention with its unusual Radial woofer (12 inches). They can easily find a place on racks, in a ceiling or wall mount in medium-sized studios: for recording music, mixing, mastering, broadcasting, as well as as rear speakers in a multi-channel system of a tone studio or a post-production studio.
No other speaker system can compare with the IB2-C in terms of transparency and dynamics. The combination of the legendary PMC75 midrange and a powerful 10” piston-type bass driver gives the songs an exciting emotionality that cannot leave any listener indifferent.
One of the distinctive features of the model is the PMC-designed 75mm domed midrange driver. The Volt Radial low-frequency speaker with a "return basket", thanks to its exoskeleton, has the ability to make wide-amplitude oscillations and withstand extremely high loads.
Building on the unique legacy and 25 years of success of the BB5 from PMC, the BB6 offers the same wide dynamic range and frequency response, a 15-inch radial bass driver, unwavering tonal consistency at all output levels, and a high maximum SPL (up to 128 dB) as its predecessor, but with additional power and the flexibility of the patented pmC Class D amplification and DSP control.
The PMC Prophecy1 is a 2-way bookshelf model from the PMC company's line of Prophecy speakers. It uses the company's advanced Laminar technology (LaminairX), working in tandem with an advanced transmission line (ATL) that controls airflow, resulting in significant improvements in dynamics and low frequencies.
The PMC Prodigy 1, an amazing smaller speaker, is an extremely compact rack/bookshelf-mounted design, ideal for small and medium-sized rooms, yet capable of producing rich, dynamic sound despite its diminutive shape.
Structurally, the model is a two-way monitor with a section frequency of 1.8 kHz. High frequencies are reproduced by a tweeter with a soft dome with a diameter of 27 mm made of SONOLEX material, which is able to withstand a very high level of input signal due to the use of a cooling ferromagnetic liquid.
The main advantage is Laminair Vent technology, developed through the study of Formula 1 cars and the past work in this area by Oliver Thomas, head of PMC. Laminair vents ensures smoothed air movement inside the speaker and when it exits through the port in the bottom, and, consequently, higher lowercase quality.
The PMC twenty5 21i is a bookshelf two-way speaker, the most compact in the series. The case is only 34 cm high, but inside it is an acoustic maze with a length of 1 m 72 cm — a woofer rear radiation loading system known as the ATL new generation transmission line, which PMC uses in all its speakers.
The PMC twenty 5 i consists of a pair of two-lane and one three-lane floorboards, two two-lane shelving units and a central channel system. The crossovers are assembled on "military" fiberglass boards with pure copper tracks and are designed to provide improved band stitching.
The MB2 SE is a modern 3-way bookshelf speaker developed by PMC. The low-frequency spectrum of the signals is reproduced by a 310 mm woofer driver. The woofer operates in a 3-meter-long ATL transmission line.
The PMC BB5 SE bookshelf speaker is equipped with a specially designed proprietary midrange driver, a 15-inch woofer, and one 27mm tweeter with a soft dome made of SONOLEX material.
Redefining large-format monitoring, the PMC15 delivers uncompromising accuracy, scale, and confidence for today’s most demanding professional studios.
