Electrocompaniet is a Norwegian audio equipment manufacturing company. It was founded in 1973 by Per Abrahamsen and Svein Erik Berja.

The discs are loaded through the top panel with a sliding lid, while the CD is fixed in the transport using a small but heavy washer with a company logo. The player has both balanced (4.6 V) and unbalanced (2.3 V) analog outputs, in addition, there is a digital output in SPIDF format on optical and coaxial connectors.
