Engineering and use context

The crossover uses a 2nd order low-pass filter for the mid and bass driver and a 3rd order high-pass filter for the tweeter. The F300i Series includes the F301i stand-mount and the F300i LCR centre channel, so the F302i can serve as the main front speakers in a home theatre built from one range, with the tweeter type and driver material shared across the range. The crossover designs are computer optimised and then fine tuned by listening, and the drivers are selected to meet the price targets of the range.
