The Vitus Audio MP-P201 Mk.III phono preamplifier uses the same discrete gain stage modules that were developed for the MP-L201, but for this phono preamplifier they have been optimized to achieve much lower noise levels. This is important to ensure high-quality musical performance even with cartridges with the lowest output voltage currently available on the market.
The Vitus Audio MP-P201 Mk.III offers MC gain 50, 53, 55, 57, 60, 63, 67, 70, 72, 75dB and MC load steps 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, 75, 90, 100, 110, 120, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 750, 1k, 2kΩ - gain is fully selectable based on the output voltage of the connected cartridge.
This is the optimal way to ensure the ideal balance between the cartridge and the phono preamplifier. And changing the gain settings and load parameters is easy using the remote control or the buttons on the front panel of the unit. Of course, the phono preamplifier is capable of handling both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges.
Finally, the external power supply ensures a significant reduction in noise levels. The power transformer and other components of the power supply are located far from the sensitive audio circuits of the Vitus Audio MP-P201 Mk.III.

The new Nagaoka MP-700 cartridge tops the Moving Permalloy (MP) series and will be available in the standard MP-700 and premium MP-700H versions. Compared to conventional moving magnet (MM) cartridges, the Moving Permalloy (MP) variant features a lighter permalloy magnet attached to the cantilever.
Sennheiser has introduced the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open TWS headphones – the model, designed in a stylish compact design, promises, according to the manufacturer, exceptional comfort during use and a secure fit.
The Ranieri Audio Labs Varieta preamplifier has been released – the model uses directly heated triodes and allows for a wide range of tubes (300B, 2A3/6A3, 12A/201A, 26, 30, 31, 45, 50, 71A, 801A/10Y, 275A/252A, 245 and 842/VT52 will do). Simply ideal for those wishing to experiment with tube rolling.
Accuphase has introduced the Accuphase C-57 phono preamplifier, based on a fully balanced circuit design from output to input with dual mono topology. The Accuphase C-57 also uses a two-stage solution: the first stage is the output stage to ensure matching with MM and MC cartridges, the second stage is the correction amplifier itself.
Last year, Goldmund launched the impressive Goldmund Rhea and Theia acoustics in active versions with a wireless streamer. The all-in-one solution certainly looked brilliant, but High-End fans often prefer component systems. So now the company has introduced the Goldmund Rhea and Theia loudspeakers in a Passive version.
