Mytek has announced the launch of its flagship digital-to-analog converter, streamer, and preamplifier - the Mytek Empire V2.0 - and is now accepting pre-orders.

Swiss high-end audio manufacturer CH Precision has updated two components in its product lineup, introducing the P1.5 phono stage and L1.5 line preamplifier. Replacing the P1 and L1 models, the new units feature refined circuitry and engineering solutions derived from the flagship P10 and L10 components.

Ladder has released the Chopin II, a balanced preamp featuring a fully discrete circuit design and Class A output stages. This model stands out significantly from many other solutions on the market: the Ladder Chopin II operates with a gain of 0 dB, functioning essentially as a switcher and volume controller without applying any additional amplification to the input signal.

Swiss high-end audio manufacturer Goldmund has expanded its product lineup with the new flagship Mimesis Statement preamplifier, designed for uncompromising Ultra High End stereo systems. The model's defining feature is its unusual architecture, which separates the audio circuitry and power supplies into three independent chassis. The central unit houses the analog audio circuitry, while the two additional components provide dedicated power supplies for the left and right channels.

Italian audio brand Manunta, owned by M2Tech, has expanded its Classic series, which debuted in 2024 with the Classic Integrated amplifier.

American company Schiit Audio has introduced the Freya 2 preamplifier, distinguished by its ability to flexibly reconfigure the amplification circuitry. At the heart of the new model is the proprietary Fusion Architecture, which combines four vacuum tubes with depletion-mode MOSFET transistors. Users can choose between five operating modes: passive, all-tube, all-solid-state, and two hybrid configurations in which tubes are employed either for voltage amplification or current amplification.

German manufacturer AVM Audio has introduced two new phono preamplifiers in its Evolution series – the PH 3.3 and PH 5.3 – designed to work with a wide range of MM and MC cartridges. The main difference between the two models lies in the output stage: the PH 3.3 uses a low-noise transistor-based design, while the PH 5.3 features AVM’s proprietary tube output stage. According to the manufacturer, the tubes used in the flagship model are rated for a service life of several tens of thousands of hours.

Clearaudio has launched the new Compact Phono preamplifier, designed for use with both MM and MC cartridges. The unit is housed in a compact metal enclosure measuring 115 × 26 × 80 mm and can be placed directly next to a turntable without taking up much space. It is available in black and silver finishes.

Michi has expanded its Prestige series with two new components – the P430 preamplifier and the S430 stereo power amplifier. The new models sit one step below the flagship Reference range, which continues to be headed by the P5 and S5, while retaining Michi’s characteristic engineering approach, substantial construction and extensive integration options for modern audio systems.

Vincent Audio has updated its SA-32 hybrid preamplifier with a new version designated SA-32MK. The key addition is a Bluetooth module, allowing music to be streamed directly from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. However, the manufacturer has not expanded the digital section any further: unlike the anniversary SA-32 AE model, the SA-32MK offers no other digital interfaces.

Vinnie Rossi is launching a new, more accessible equipment line called Canta, with the Canta Phono Preamplifier being the first device in the series. In the autumn of 2026, the lineup will expand to include the Canta Integrated Amplifier, Canta Preamplifier, and Canta Stereo Power Amplifier.

The revived American brand Pilot Radio unveiled the Pilot Radio 232 stereo tube power amplifier at the Southwest Audio Fest in Dallas. Priced at $4,790, the model is inspired by the company’s proprietary Curtain of Sound circuit, originally developed in 1959. The modern version was designed by Damon Coffman of Coffman Labs, while production has been established at facilities in Portland and Dallas.

T+A has expanded its flagship HV series with two new components – the A 3100 HV stereo power amplifier and the SDX 3100 HV multifunction preamplifier. The devices have been developed as the foundation of a reference-grade audio system and can be used together. At the same time, the SDX 3100 HV is more than just a preamplifier, serving as a universal control centre for both digital and analogue sources.

Emotiva has announced the XSP-2 preamplifier, a new model designed for high-end stereo systems. The unit succeeds the Emotiva XSP-1 preamplifier, introduced back in 2013, and significantly develops its concept. With the new model, Emotiva has focused on modern circuitry, expanded connectivity and the possibility of future upgrades thanks to a modular design.

Greek brand Ideon Audio presented its new IDEON Nous model at High End Vienna 2026. The device combines a network player, a digital-to-analog converter and a fully balanced analog preamplifier in a single chassis. The company emphasizes that Nous was created not simply as a convenient all-in-one component for connecting sources, but as a full-fledged audiophile device for a modern digital system. According to the manufacturer, the model was designed from the ground up as a unified audio platform, rather than as a computer-based solution with an audio section added later.

Cayin has expanded its range of compact Hi-Fi electronics with the new Cayin BTC-2. The model combines several functions at once: a Bluetooth receiver, digital-to-analog converter, preamplifier and headphone amplifier. This solution is aimed at users who want a quick and convenient way to connect modern digital sources to a classic audio system, active speakers or wired headphones.

Moon has expanded its Compass lineup with two new components: the Moon 491 preamplifier/streamer and the Moon 461 stereo power amplifier. These models broaden the series, which previously included the Moon 371 all-in-one system, and make Compass a more flexible platform for building a High End audio system.

Lotoo has introduced two new components for desktop audio systems: the Lotoo Gungnir DAC with headphone amplifier and the Lotoo LPX-01 external power supply, designed specifically to work with it, but not exclusively. The company will showcase both devices at High End 2026 Vienna in early June, as well as in the World of Headphones area in Vienna.

British company Exposure Electronics has introduced its flagship preamplifier, the Exposure 5510 Preamp. Designed for serious stereo audio systems, the model emphasizes engineering, ease of use, and thoughtful connectivity, rather than flashy interface solutions, touchscreens, or apps.

Japanese brand Air Tight has updated its current product lineup with the new ATC-6 tube preamplifier. The model succeeds the ATC-3 roughly twenty years after the latter’s release and is positioned as the most accessible preamplifier in the company’s catalogue.
