The modular flagship PA 8.3 preamp is based on a modular design, which allows the device to be continuously expanded and adapted to individual requirements. PA 8.3 consists of two parts: the base unit and modules (all modules are purchased separately). The base unit contains a newly developed and very sophisticated linear power supply, as well as processor control of all functions and all modules that can be combined in almost any way and assembled together to meet individual requirements.
A special feature of the EVOLUTION SPAS 5.3 is the built-in tube linear stage, which is located in the input section of the preamplifier. Equipped with lamps of its own production, specially made for AVM, it uses a completely new circuit for the latest EVOLUTION series, which was created by AVM Audio engineers, in order to fully unleash their tonal charm.
Enclosed in a classic format case, the preamp combines a switch of several signal sources, a universal phono corrector, a digital-to-analog converter and a Bluetooth 4.2 wireless module. On the back panel there are linear unbalanced and balanced inputs on RCA and XLR connectors, as well as an input for connecting a vinyl player.
