DAD branded tweeters with a silk dome, woofers with an aluminum diffuser, as well as midrange drivers with a diffuser made of cellulose and other natural fibers are used here. It has become easier to place speakers (even shelf speakers) with the bass reflex port installed at the base of the speaker. All models are available in three colors: matt white, black lacquer and "wood".
The Sonus faber Sonetto III is a compact 3-way floorstanding speaker system with a bass reflex. This is the youngest floor lamp in the Sonetto line. Despite its size, its capabilities are quite mature — 280 watts of input power, four branded speakers, 16 kg of live weight and Made in Italy quality.
The speaker impresses with its pleasant, elegant design with leather trim on the top panel, which allows it to literally disappear into a modern interior, harmoniously combining with furniture and interior decoration.
The speakers can withstand up to 300 watts of input power, are equipped with four speakers and have a frequency range of 38 Hz – 25,000 Hz. The speakers reproduce rich low frequencies, and will play both music and movies well.
Sonus Faber Sonetto VIII is a 3-way floorstanding speaker with a bass reflex, the flagship of the Sonetto series. The epitome of elegant Italian style, the Sonetto VIII is the first violin in the collection. Due to its considerable size, this speaker is the most powerful three-way speaker system in the line. Three 180mm woofers form a bass of the highest standards.
The high-frequency and mid-frequency speaker configuration evolves into three completely new elements: one mid-frequency driver with a pulp diaphragm, a new mid-frequency driver with a treated silk dome, and a new super-high frequency driver with a treated silk dome.
The Lumina V Amator floor speaker uses a 29 mm tweeter, a 15 cm midrange driver and a pair of 16.5cm diameter low-frequency drivers with paper diffusers.
The Lumina II Amator dual-way monitors feature a 29mm tweeter and a midrange/woofer with a custom-made basket and a 15 cm diameter diffuser made from cellulose pulp mixed with other natural fibers.
The wireless bookshelf speakers are implemented in a two-way concept with a 0.7-inch silk dome tweeter and a 5.25-inch midrange driver with a conical paper diffuser.
All the drivers used in Stradivari are new, specially designed for this acoustics. The appearance of the Stradivari Homage is not ordinary. Struggling with wave diffraction on the planes of the front panels, developers have recently been trying to reduce their area as much as possible.
The Sonus Faber Amati is a 3.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker. The front panel of the speakers has a simple rectangular geometry, while the side panels, shaped like the curves of a lute, taper to the back of the case.
The speaker is equipped with a 28 mm tweeter with a dome membrane made of silk, the parasitic resonance of which is damped by a special element embedded in the center of the installed divider (Damped Apex Dome technology).
The bookshelf holder is equipped with a 28 mm tweeter with "Arrow Point" DAD technology: a damping element is fixed on the metal divider installed in front of the silk dome membrane, which touches its upper point and helps eliminate parasitic resonance.
Sonus faber Omnia is an all-in-one wireless speaker system for High-end homes with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Airplay 2, Chromecast, and Roon Ready. The speaker is equipped with an HDMI Arc and an analog input, as well as a built-in phono corrector.
The floorstanding loudspeaker has a two-band configuration, and a tweeter with a 28 mm DAD dome (Damped Apex Dome) is responsible for high frequencies, loaded onto a maze made of solid wood. The main driver reproducing midrange and bass is the MW 18XTR-04 with an 18 mm diffuser made of cellulose and natural fibers.
The Il Cremonese ex3me floorstanding loudspeakers from the Italian company Sonus Faber, named after the violins of the great Stradivarius, are a modification of the Il Cremonese model presented in the Homage Collection series in 2015.
The Sonus Faber Lumina V can be used in both classic stereo and home theater systems. Like the rest of the line, the Lumia V combines sound and design with the proprietary Gravis I, II and III subwoofers.
The model is suitable for playback of stereo recordings rich in musical subtleties and nuances, as well as for a multi-channel home theater system.
The Sonus Faber Lumina II is equipped with a 150 mm mid-low frequency driver with a cellulose diffuser with natural fibers. With a crossover frequency of 1,800 Hz, the Lumina II performs in the range of 55-24,000 Hz.
The model uses the famous D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) high–frequency driver - the same one used in the Sonetto series, with a 29mm diaphragm from Kurtmueller made of soft silk, made by hand.
The Sonus Faber Gravis III subwoofer is made according to the classical scheme in a closed rectangular (almost cubic) case with a 10-inch driver on the side wall. This ultra-long-range speaker, with which the Gravis III showed a lower limit of 25 Hz, received a three-layer sandwich diffuser reinforced with a spatial honeycomb structure.
The model features a 28mm silk H28 X TR 3 soft dome tweeter that uses DEAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology. This technology increases the softness of sound at high frequencies by applying local damping at the top of the membrane — it is the top of the membrane that is usually the source of antiphase distortion in a soft dome speaker.
The loudspeaker housings in the Olympic Nova series are made of eight layers of profiled and bent plywood, the top panel is made of solid walnut or wenge in a metal frame, which ensures maximum rigidity of the body. Inside the case, stiffeners are neatly arranged, used to strengthen the structure to reduce vibration and to mount the speakers more securely when a high-power signal is applied.
The Sonus faber Olympica Nova II 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker occupy a junior position among the floor models of the Olympica Nova line. With their compact size, the Olympica Nova II are the smallest floor speakers in the collection, but they have everything you need for any acoustic playback needs.
For RF transmission, a 28 mm tweeter with a silk dome membrane, a neodymium magnet and Damped Apex Dome (DAD) technology is used, which makes it possible to reduce the parasitic resonance of the dome to zero by using a special damper mounted on the aluminum arc of the divider installed in front of it.
The Sonus faber Concertino G4 is a 2-way bookshelf speaker with an inch silk dome tweeter with DAD technology and a long-stroke midwoofer with a 5-inch diameter diffuser made of paper pulp.
This model is equipped with a low-frequency driver with a diameter of 8 inches with a very large amplitude of the diffuser movement. The bass unit is located on the bottom panel of the subwoofer and is aimed at the floor, which ensures an even distribution of bass in the listening room.
The subwoofer is equipped with a 10-inch woofer with a diffuser made of impregnated paper. The diffuser is mounted on a wide rubber suspension, which ensures its rapid movement with a large amplitude. The bass is loaded onto a passive radiator. The radiator on the front panel of the subwoofer is covered with a removable safety net.
Powerful 12-inch long stroke design and extremely rigid and lightweight three-layer ParaNanoCarbon sandwich diffuser, resistant to distortion even at the strongest signal, which ensures dense and accurate bass reproduction.
Powerful 12-inch dynamic head with long stroke and extremely rigid and lightweight three-layer ParaNanoCarbon sandwich diffuser, resistant to bending even at the strongest signal, which ensures dense and accurate bass reproduction. In addition, the extremely powerful and highly efficient Class AB amplifier is rated at 1800 watts at 4 ohms.
The speaker system uses drivers that have been developed specifically for this series. The 28mm (1.1in) tweeter features DAD™ Damped Apex Dome technology, the same as in the Reference collection, and features a silk dome with a tricycle damper mount, reminiscent of its unique predecessors.
The Sonus Faber Aida walnut floorstanding loudspeakers are presented with a certain bias, and this form allows you to get the most out of listening to your favorite track. Speakers can be installed in the corners of the room, from where their speakers will emit clear, high-quality sound without distortion.
The leather-trimmed front panel has a built-in unit with a 28 mm tweeter and a 180 mm midrange driver. The tweeter is equipped with a neodymium magnet and an antiresonance chamber made of wood, designed as an "acoustic maze", has a silk dome and uses the "Arrow Point" DAD technology.
Lilium continues the Aida musical tradition: the same new high-speed 29 mm tweeter with a soft dome DAD, a new midrange and a new midrange having a size of 180 mm (diameter equal to the diameter of the basket for better "fusion" of the relative spectrum).
