It is considered a breakthrough in distortion reduction and the most powerful, dynamic, natural and detailed amplifier of the entire NuPrime series.
The amplifier is equipped with a built-in phono corrector for working with the pickup heads with a movable magnet (MM) with advanced input resistance and capacitance settings. The phono corrector circuit uses MUSES 8820 operational amplifiers. The input selector here is a relay one, which ensures minimal interference during switching. The volume control is stepwise, with 99 levels of gain.
The line inputs to RCA and XLR are designed to supply the signal, and the phono corrector input is separately allocated. Outputs are also implemented on RCA and XLR, and there is also a 6.35mm headphone jack on the front panel. Switches are located on the bottom of the device, allowing you to adjust the input resistance and connect additional capacity for the MM heads.
The new NuPrime Class A+D hybrid amplification technologies deliver the essence and warmth of Class A amplification, as well as the efficiency and speed of Class D technology in an environment of immeasurable noise. The spacious, transparent, dynamic and luxuriously textured sound stage of the IDA-8 inspires confidence.
The NuPrime STA-9, a 2 x 120W Class A+D stereo amplifier coupled to a 290W mono amplifier, is designed with an improved even-order harmonic circuit that mimics the most attractive sound characteristics of tube amplifiers without the disadvantages of lamps and limitations. The spacious, transparent, dynamic and luxuriously textured STA9 sound stage must be heard to believe it.
The STA-9 is a Class A+D stereo amplifier. In stereo mode, its power is 120 watts per channel, but it can also work in mono amplifier mode with a power of 290 watts. The amplifier circuit is borrowed from the IDA-8, which is based on a high-impedance class A pre-stage and a Class D power stage. Thanks to this, the novelty sounds "almost lamp-like", but at the same time it is clear and reliable. The 95 dB signal-to-noise ratio is achieved by JFET transistors simulating triodes.
NuPrime is a small AMG STA power amplifier capable of delivering 300 watts at 8 ohms in bridge mode and 320 Watts at 4 ohms load. He achieves such indicators by using a clever scheme that combines two cascades – one in class A on JFET transistors and the second in class D. In traditional stereo mode, the power is 120 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 200 watts at 4 ohms.
The NuPrime AMG One is a smaller version of the Evolution Two amplifier. The model uses Only Distortion Cancellation (ODC) technology, which significantly reduces distortion.
The NuPrime AMG STA includes several advanced power amplifier design innovations. Its best-in-class features include a 1 mOhm input impedance, high instantaneous current for power supply, a 700 kHz switching frequency, and an unbalanced Class A non-negative module combined with a Class D dual feedback module for 300W mono amplifier power.
The “Power Engine” is a low-power switching power supply (SMPS) for low voltages on the amp board. The large linear power supply provides high voltages for the Class-D power stage. According to the manufacturer, they have made a breakthrough in SMPS design that can rival linear power supplies. This “Power Engine” is the first use of such a design for AMG STA-SE.
The Prime DOC-8 is based on a proprietary SIS chip and is capable of processing digital PCM streams with a resolution up to 32 bits/384 kHz and DSD up to DSD256. The analog output on two high–quality gold-plated RCA connectors is adjustable - the digital volume control has 99 steps of 0.5 dB each.
The NuPrime Evolution DAC-2 uses a dual 32-bit ESS9038Q2M audio DAC using ESS technology for independent decoding of the left and right channels to improve channel separation and reduce overall noise.
The NuPrime AMG DAC uses dual ESS DACs with discrete Class A transistors for natural, detailed and enhanced soundstage performance. NuPrime AMG-DAC with five digital inputs, including IIS/DSD, and one analog stereo input, balanced RCA and XLR outputs, and PCM 384K decoding capability, the DSD256 is a reference-class DAC designed for studio professionals and high-end audiophiles.
The NuPrime AMG HPA is the world's first 1MOhm headphone amplifier, which was first used in our flagship EVO ONE amplifiers and now in the AMG series.
The NuPrime DAC-9X is a reference-class DAC with 6.3mm headphone output, designed for professionals.
The NuPrime DAC-10H combines advanced technology and offers HD audio signal conversion up to 384 kHz PCM and DSD256. The DAC is equipped with a high-quality preamp (Reference-LE class). And the model with the "H" index has a balanced headphone amplifier that can fully unlock the potential of the best headsets.
The NuPrime Stream-9 is a reference—class multiroom streaming station with 24-bit/192 kHz Wi-Fi streaming and Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD. The Stream-9 has multiple digital outputs for connecting to an external DAC.
The sampling rate converter of this model allows you to increase the sampling rate of CD format to PCM and DSD, from 44.1 kHz to 768 kHz or DoP256;
The reader is a Philips SAA7824HL transport with an ARM LPC2103F control processor, which has an algorithm for reducing interference and jitter. The device is also capable of super-sampling the signal to 24-bit / 768 kHz and DoP256 parameters. It should also be noted that there is a decoupling transformer for the coaxial output.
NuPrime CDT-9 is a professional CD transport with a powerful DSP—based decoder. It has a sampling rate converter that allows you to output digital PCM streams in a resolution of up to 24 bit/768 kHz or DSD256.
