The Audio Note IQ pickups represent the best embodiment of a moving magnet design at the moment. Thanks to the highest quality of the components, they provide excellent tracking, excellent dynamic range and long service life.

The coils in all IQ pickup models are made of high purity copper wire (99.999%) and incredibly small diameter. People often ask us why we don't release the "silver" version of IQ pickups. The reason is very simple: the production of silver wires of such a small caliber is impossible.

The IQ3, unlike the younger models in the series, uses a titanium needle holder. Combined with diamond-ground Gyger Type I profile, IQ3 pickups provide an incredible level of performance for moving magnet designs.
