Among other updates, the Analog Audio Design TP-1100 now supports playback speeds up to 30 inches per second. A switchable output stage has also been added: the built-in module can be disabled, and an option to output the signal directly from the system's heads allows for connecting an external preamplifier/corrector.
The Analog Audio Design TR-1100 is a two‑track, two‑channel tape recorder for quarter‑inch‑wide tape and reels with a diameter of up to 30 cm. The device supports three tape speeds: 30, 15, and 7.5 inches per second, which correspond to 76.2, 38.1, and 19.05 cm/s, respectively. It also features speed adjustment with a wide pitch range.
