The body of the Aavik P-880 amplifier was designed primarily to preserve the best sound characteristics. Copper was chosen as the main material for the body elements. The chassis is a sandwich of copper plate, heavy laminate gaskets and a titanium layer on the bottom, and copper cooling radiators are mounted on the sides. The volume knob is covered with a rubber layer, and the main control functions of the amplifier are implemented through a large touchscreen LCD display.
