DALI Vega – Premium Wireless All-in-One System with 400W Amplification

Renowned Danish loudspeaker manufacturer DALI has introduced the Vega wireless audio system – a compact all-in-one solution designed for users who want serious sound without a traditional rack of components, an external amplifier, or separate loudspeakers. The model’s world debut is scheduled for High End Vienna 2026, which will take place in early June in Vienna. DALI emphasizes that Vega is the result of the company’s many years of experience in loudspeaker design and is intended to bring the brand’s signature approach into a more compact and interior-friendly format.

When developing the Vega audio system, the company focused not only on audiophile performance but also on the demands of modern living spaces. The new model was created for listeners who want high-quality music playback but are not prepared to deal with numerous cables, separate components, and complex setup. According to DALI, the project took around five years and included market research: the manufacturer concluded that more and more buyers are looking not just for good sound, but for a versatile device that can be easily placed in the home and fit naturally into the interior.

Inside the DALI Vega are ten proprietary drivers. The design uses 25 mm soft-dome tweeters with ferrofluid damping and an enlarged rear chamber intended to reduce unwanted resonances. The midrange and bass drivers are arranged in a back-to-back configuration: this solution helps compensate for cabinet vibrations while also expanding the soundstage, making the presentation more spacious and even.

The amplification section is built around an eight-channel architecture with a total output of 400 W – 50 W for each amplification channel. The acoustic section uses DALI’s traditional paper-and-wood-fibre cones, low-loss surrounds, and passive bass radiators. According to the manufacturer, this configuration should provide confident dynamics, natural timbre reproduction, and deep bass for a device of such a compact class.

DALI has paid particular attention to sound processing. Vega features Adaptive Stereo Enhancement technology, for which the company has filed a patent application. It analyzes the incoming audio signal in real time and creates a wide stereo image from a single enclosure, while aiming to preserve a natural sound without an overly artificial effect. Another feature, Adaptive Orientation Adjustment, automatically adapts the sound to the system’s position: Vega can be used vertically or horizontally, placed on furniture, or mounted on a wall. Additional settings are also provided for placement near a wall or in a room corner.

Network functionality is handled by the BluOS platform, thanks to which DALI Vega supports multi-room audio, streaming, and high-resolution audio playback. Connections include HDMI ARC, an analogue input, an optical digital input, USB audio, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Apple AirPlay 2. Five programmable buttons are provided for quick access to sources and saved settings. The OLED display automatically changes its orientation depending on the position of the cabinetExternally, the DALI Vega is finished in a premium style: the cabinet is trimmed with natural wood veneer, anodized aluminium, and specially woven acoustic fabric. The system is expected to go on sale in Europe in September. Buyers will be offered two finish options – dark oak and natural oak. The recommended retail price of the DALI Vega will be €2,990.
