FiiO has released the BTR25, a portable DAC and headphone amplifier designed both for high-quality wired listening and wireless operation (featuring support for the modern Bluetooth 6.2 protocol). At the heart of the FiiO BTR25 is the Qualcomm QCC3095 chipset. Supported audio codecs include aptX Lossless, LDAC, and LE Audio, with full integration for Snapdragon Sound technology.

The FiiO BTR25 utilizes an ESS ES9069Q DAC chip paired with dual ES9603Q amplifiers. It offers both 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs, with the balanced interface delivering an impressive 460 mW per channel. For computer connectivity, it features a USB interface supporting PCM audio up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD256. The BTR25 can function as a Bluetooth receiver or as an external DAC for a smartphone.

The device is housed in an aluminum alloy chassis. The front panel features a 1.3-inch color IPS display, complemented by physical control buttons and a volume adjustment dial. A detachable magnetic clip is also included; sound settings can be customized via the FiiO Control app, which includes a 10-band parametric equalizer.

On a single charge, the FiiO BTR25 provides up to 11 hours of playback. It is priced very affordably at $109.99.
