Based on a zero-feedback circuit, a pure tube circuit, and a tube rectifier, the CD-35 II exposes a variety of musical layers with maximum transparency while creating a deep and focused three-dimensional sound stage. The bass is dense and powerful, the midrange is clear and smooth, natural, while extremely clean and finely detailed, but not analytical.
The lamp output stage is implemented on two lamps - 5687 and 6H30 plus a common rectifier on GZ30. All lamps are Russian–made. The chip used in the DAC of the regular version is not specified, it is only known that it is made by Asahi Kasei and is switched on in differential mode.
