The speakers have a four-band configuration, which is also necessary in this market segment. A combined treble/midrange unit is installed in the upper part of the front panel of the ELAC Concentra S509, consisting of a concentrically arranged Jet 5 ribbon tweeter and a treble/midrange driver with a 130 mm aluminum diffuser. At the bottom is a 180mm midrange speaker with the proprietary AS-XR combo diffuser, which reproduces the voice range very accurately and neutrally. Four low-frequency speakers with a diameter of 180 mm are located on the side panels of the ELAC Concentra S 509.
