The Prima preamp is characterized by excellent performance, the highest sound quality and a unique design characteristic of Chord Electronics products. Prima uses a so-called "double bus" Chord, which allows you to record one source while listening to another. The audio circuits are made in a fully symmetrical internal architecture.
Each sensitive element of the structure, such as power supplies, volume controls, channel balance, and a timbre unit, are hidden under powerful screens carved from solid aluminum blanks. In addition to an end-to-end channel for connecting AV processors, the ULTIMA PRE has two separate headphone outputs.
The device is designed from scratch using the latest solutions in the field of low-noise power supplies. The preamp has five analog inputs, three balanced and two unbalanced, as well as an end-to-end loop for connection to a home theater system.
The Chord SUZI PRE is a universal preamp with integrated MM/MC phono corrector developed by John Franks for Chord Electronics.
