ThivanLabs is a GrandHorn Gamma speaker system. This is a passive three-way horn model that uses a 12-inch woofer with a paper diffuser, a 6.5-inch paper midrange speaker, and a 1-inch compression driver for the upper range. This set of components indicates that acoustics are oriented towards high sensitivity and work with moderate-power amplifiers.
The ThivanLabs Ultimate 300 Preamp is built as a single-stroke tube preamp based on the famous 300B vacuum triodes. One of the main features of the model is the built-in support for vinyl record players: the novelty is equipped with phono correctors not only for traditional MM/MC heads, but also for optical cartridges. Matching via a step-up transformer is provided for MC cartridges.
