The Aluminum Three speakers received an aluminum cabinet, with a more compact body, in particular, providing a reduced price for the new product. In total, two 8-inch woofers, one 5.25-inch midrange and an inch tweeter, both with neodymium magnets, are capable of receiving up to 300 watts of peak power.

The model is a three-lane system in the d'Appolito configuration. The emitter set includes two 12-inch diameter bass drivers, two 6.5-inch midrange drivers, and one inch tweeter.

The case is made in a typical Steinheim manner. It uses solid aluminum panels over a critically rigid internal chassis, CNC machined from a solid aluminum billet. The sheer amount of aluminum used is impressive, ensuring that these cabinets are sound inert and won't sag no matter how loud the music is. Under the sleek exterior panels, each speaker is mounted in a separate camera to minimize interference from others.
