D'fon Audio produces handmade acoustics in the south-west of England. Each case is assembled from moisture-resistant MDF, reinforced with internal struts and damped with British-made materials.

SQ-10
Bookshelf Speakers
The junior model Aurora SQ-10 is also a two-lane shelf design and is in the final stage of development. Current features include a 19mm soft dome tweeter and a 5-inch carbon fiber woofer. The speaker has a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, a weight of 7.2 kg and uses a port tuning frequency of 58 Hz. The final technical data is expected closer to the start of sales in January.

Bookshelf Speakers
The Aurora SQ-20 is a shelf—mounted two-way speaker system measuring 390 × 205 × 288 mm and weighing 9.5 kg. The nominal impedance is 4 ohms, the declared sensitivity is 87 dB. The frequency of the crossover section is 2.1 kHz, the bass reflex port is set to 48 Hz. D'fond Audio indicates for the model a frequency range of 50 Hz – 22 kHz (± 3.5 dB) with the claimed expansion in a room from 36 Hz to 22 kHz.
