Piega

Piega Master Line Source MKII is an floorstanding loudspeaker. The flagship of the Swiss company Piega. It has a three-way configuration. It boasts a sensitivity of 94 dB and a resistance of 4 ohms.

Handmade acoustic systems with an array of LSD 211 radiators (Line Source Driver) and a dipole design provide unique spatial reproduction with an unsurpassed sense of depth.

The speakers are built according to the proprietary "linear dipole" scheme (the heavily modified Line Source Driver 111 system works on the midrange and treble), the bass drivers in the configuration of 2 x 180 mm UHQD woofers and 2 x 180 mm passive drivers guarantee a bass frequency of 28 Hz.

The speakers use a block of coaxially mounted tape midrange and treble drivers. Twitter received a neodymium magnet, which increased its effectiveness. Thanks to the extruded aluminum profile, the developers managed to increase the internal space of the housings, and special damping layers minimized resonances during operation.

Together with two woofers, the model uses a new C 212+ coaxial driver, which reveals all its dynamics and inspires with an equally natural and vibrant sound variety.

The Premium 701 Wireless is controlled via a digital wireless connection, transmits music via Bluetooth from a smartphone, and can be integrated into a multi-room system. The built-in 200-watt amplifier provides the necessary power for dynamic and powerful sound reproduction.

This slim, elegant 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker with a height of just under a meter is ideal for small and medium-sized rooms. One mid-frequency MDS and four 120mm low-frequency MDS in combination with our famous LDR-2642-MKII ribbon tweeter are powered by a 180-watt amplifier.

The model is equipped with an FS-W low-frequency driver, a 140mm bass-midrange driver and an RM 01-24 ribbon tweeter.

The floorstanding loudspeakers received 120-mm midrange/woofer drivers, a 120-mm bass drive and a tape ATM tweeter. The built-in power amplifier is capable of delivering 200 watts.

The model uses a special AMT-1 emitter — this ribbon tweeter uses an extremely lightweight 24x36 mm curved membrane and a powerful magnetic system made of high purity neodymium. The AMT-1 delivers airy and detailed sound with excellent transient response and minimal distortion.

The Swiss recommend using the Ace 30 to listen to jazz or classical music, but they are sure that they will not save you when playing rock and popular music.

Piega Classic 5.0 is a 2.5—band outdoor speaker with an AMT-1 ribbon tweeter and two 130 mm woofer/midrange speakers, 36-40000 Hz, 91 dB, 4 ohms, 150 watts. Compact body (930×180×280 mm), dynamic and detailed sound for small spaces, premium finishes and Bi-wiring.

The Piega Premium 801 speakers combine outstanding resolution with dynamic power and an almost concert-scale stage. Due to the low mass of the SSD ribbon tweeter, the upper range is extremely fast and responsive, and the horn ensures uniform horizontal radiation direction.
