Origin Live Voyager – Flagship Turntable with Enterprise Mk5 Tonearm

British manufacturer Origin Live has introduced a new flagship analogue system built around the Voyager turntable and the Enterprise Mk5 tonearm. For demonstration purposes, the company has paired them with Lyra’s top-of-the-line Atlas λ Lambda MC cartridge, creating a system focused on extracting the maximum amount of information from a record groove. Rather than simply relying on high mass, the design philosophy is based on comprehensive control of vibration, resonance, and mechanical energy throughout the signal path.

The Origin Live Voyager uses a multi-part platter engineered to dissipate energy across a wide frequency range while reducing unwanted reflections within the mechanical system. Combined with a precision main bearing, a low-vibration motor, and specially optimized chassis components, this approach is intended to minimize the influence of micro-vibrations.

The Enterprise Mk5 tonearm follows the same philosophy. Its rigid, resonance-resistant arm tube is complemented by ceramic horizontal bearings, a dual-pivot vertical bearing system, and additional vibration-control measures. Hybrid internal wiring options incorporating silver are also available.

Completing the system is Lyra’s flagship Atlas λ Lambda MC cartridge, which features an asymmetrical body designed to suppress standing waves and parasitic resonances. Its construction includes a yokeless magnetic system, a diamond-coated boron cantilever, a variable-radius Line Contact stylus, and Lyra’s proprietary New Angle coil-alignment technology. The Origin Live Voyager system with the Enterprise Mk5 will be demonstrated at the UK Hi-Fi & AV Expo in the United Kingdom; pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
