The AVM ROTATION R 2.3 is the younger of the two models, the first for the record player company. It uses the same basic technologies as the larger EVOLUTION R 5.3. Its 9-inch tonearm is also designed by AVM, and the passionic drive is borrowed from EVOLUTION. The R 2.3 uses a slightly thinner composite chassis with an aluminum cover and an acrylic disc with blue backlight.
