The B-Sharp player uses the same design features as the C-Major model. At the same time, B-Sharp has lost all the minor cosmetic decorations of C-Major — without compromising on sound quality or mechanical integrity, providing excellent playback quality at a more affordable price.
The player is designed for those who need additional features, but who don't want to spend a fortune. The C-Sharp turntable was used as a model for the C-Major. The plate is lighter, and the speed control is done manually rather than electronically. However, the tonearm is really something that could be seen on a more expensive turntable, so E.A.T. invested money in it, even though it is 1 inch shorter than the tonearm in the C-Sharp.
The turntable is equipped with a low-noise, fully vibration-proof motor and has a low rumble level. The player's body is supported by three shock-absorbing and height-adjustable aluminum supports, which ensure the perfect horizontal position of the table and minimize vibrations.
Carbon fiber and thermoplastic elastomer (TEP) were used in the design of the model, and the base is made of MDF. The manufacturer pays special attention to the "ultra-quiet" motor and 10 damper legs made of TEP. Among other elements, a drive belt made of antistatic rubber is distinguished. According to EAT, the tonearm combines the advantages of single-bearing and ball bearings (silicone grease is involved). The tube of the tonearm is made of carbon fiber, and the shell is made of aluminum.
EAT's E-Flat is a brand new turntable with a revolutionary flat tonearm. Although attempts to use a flat tonearm have occurred before, it has never been possible to achieve the rigidity and stability required for modern turntables. Thanks to the development of carbon fiber production technologies, Forte has been able to develop a tonearm with the practical and aesthetic advantages of a flat profile and avoid the usual volatility of this type of construction.
