The Kalista DreamPlay SC develops the same concept as the DreamPlay S, but adds an integrated DAC section. The device uses the ES9039MPRO chip from ESS Technologies, and the claimed specifications include THD+N less than -122 dB and a dynamic range of 137 dB. In addition to the digital outputs I2S, S/PDIF and AES/EBU, the model is equipped with analog outputs – unbalanced on RCA connectors and balanced on XLR.
