The absence of a DAC unit and an analog part in this model create a more favorable environment for the formation of a digital output stream, which has a beneficial effect on sound quality.

More components

  • CDt

CD / SACD players and transports

    Cyrus Audio CDt

This model works as a digital transport in the absence of a built-in digital-to-analog converter. Removing additional circuitry allows CDt to focus solely on data extraction and delivering high-performance digital output.

  • CDi

CD / SACD players and transports

    Cyrus Audio CDi

The success of CDi lies in the design of the two main functional components of any CD player: the drive and the DAC. The proprietary Servo Evolution drive reduces the load on the servo tuning of the read head and removes the associated noise and interference in the audio path, and the 32-bit DAC came almost unchanged from a separate Cyrus DAC XP SIgnature DAC.

  • CDi-XR

CD / SACD players and transports

    Cyrus Audio CDi-XR

The Cyrus CDi-XR full CD player uses a proprietary second-generation QXR DAC. The Cyrus Audio developers emphasize that this is a more advanced solution compared to Burr Brown chips from Texas Instruments, which were used to build previous generations of the company's CD players. The DAC unit is located in a fully shielded section of the player's body and is optimized for decoding material from CDs with a resolution of 16 bit / 44 kHz.

  • 40 CD

    Cyrus Audio 40 CD

The new 40 Series DAC is integrated into the Cyrus 40 CD Player. The ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chipset uses a powerful processor to ensure high fidelity. The CD player is equipped with a boot slot and does not have a drawer. The mechanism is equipped with an accurate servo drive and securely locks the disc, preventing shaking.
