The Genelec 7050C is an active studio subwoofer from the 7000 series by Genelec, designed for professional monitoring in medium-sized and large studios, as well as in surround sound systems (including 5.1). Unlike monitors like the 8040B/8050B, this is a highly specialized device for precise low-frequency control — it is used in conjunction with main monitors to obtain a full-fledged full-range picture of the mix.
