Three-way full scale sound lodspeakers with five drivers (2 x 9" woofers, 2 x 3" soft domes midranges, and 1" soft dome tweeter per one speaker). 3" ribbon-wound voice-coils for bass/mids offers high dynamic sound.
The Response D30 floorstanding towers received a 165 mm diameter driver with a carbon fiber diffuser of the finest weave with a polymer coating on the back and concentric damping rings.
The new model uses a 165 mm woofer similar to the one installed in the D18, and a dome fabric high-frequency driver as a tweeter. The result is completely new speakers with an expanded sound stage, deep bass, a light and detailed treble range, and a natural midrange.
The design of the latest ProAc Response DT8 floorstanding loudspeakers uses two 6.5-inch drivers. One of them has a diffuser made of proprietary Pu Mica (mica-impregnated cellulose) material and provides powerful and deep bass.
The case design is enhanced with an 8-inch bassline with a Kevlar diffuser, providing an extended and natural bass response. It is complemented by a mid-frequency ProAc unit with an ultralight 3-inch diaphragm, complemented by a new design wave trap.
