The housing of the Alare Labs Remiga 1 speaker systems is made of sandwich panels alternating between different types of wood and layers of special damping glue, which together create an effective damping effect of the "bonded layer". This solution, as well as the internal frame made of steel rods, suppress almost any vibrations of the housing.
