Line Magnetic LM‑3 Field Coil Loudspeaker — a flagship High End horn‑loaded speaker system where all drivers operate using magnetic field excitation (field coil): instead of permanent magnets, electromagnets powered by a separate unit (for example, PR‑22) are used.
The design features replicas of legendary Western Electric components: the WE 22A horn, the LM 555 compression driver, and the 18‑inch TA‑4181 woofer. This is a three‑way system with a tube crossover, delivering sound with extremely high naturalness, great dynamics, and a sensitivity of 105 dB. The design is in the spirit of vintage audio classics, with natural wood finishing.
